No More Excuses

By

This week: No More Excuses

The words of Amos, one of the shepherds of Tekoa—the vision he saw concerning Israel two years before the earthquake, when Uzziah was king of Judah and Jeroboam son of Jehoash[a] was king of Israel.

Amos 1:1 (NCV)

Thinking Through It All

Today we talked about being “just a _____.” I’d love to discuss the following in the comments section below:

* Have you ever answered “Oh, I’m just a ___________” (you fill in the blank)…

* How does God see you?

* How can we be praying for you?
(You can post prayer requests below or send your request in here)

  1. I have said that I’m just a mom before or just a sahm and I need to stop it! I am making excuses for what I believe God wants for me! My husband and I are very convicted about me being the one to raise our little girl but I feel bad because he is working 2 jobs to support us right now. That is why I am trying to work from home but it is soooo hard! Really glad I found this site!

It is hard, Jessica, but SO worth it! 🙂 No more “just a ___” for us girls – we are daughters of the KING!

  3. Beth Jones says:

I just found your site through Twitter. I enjoyed this video. It was very encouraging, so please know how God used you today. 🙂 Really like your site and am glad I found it!

  4. jill says:

Thank you so much, Beth! God has really challenged me on this over the last few days. May we remember who He has chosen to use throughout time – people just like you and me! 🙂

  5. Thanks Jill! I really needed to hear that.
