101 Ways to Help Your Budget and You at Home

76. Consider Your Paper’s Worth
“If you are getting a Sunday paper, USE the coupons inside!! Since the value of coupons have gone down significantly, I cannot in good conscience recommend getting one or multiple newspaper subscriptions for coupons alone. The savings should be factored in with the amount spent on the subscription; if your newspaper subscription (that you would not otherwise get) is costing you more than you are saving with the coupons inside, than it is NOT saving you money!”
