Product Review: Kids Chore System

I wasn’t sure what to expect when I received Janet Nusbaum’s “Mom, Can I Help Around the House?” chore system. With a 6 year old and 3 year old I wasn’t convinced that I could really make the system work. It seemed like a good idea for other families, but I wondered if I could be successful with it as well.

I’m happy to report that it’s a great system and so easy to follow that even I loved it. It’s laid out in an easy to understand, easy to follow manner including worksheets, ideas and explanations of learning styles and more. I’d recommend this to any mom struggling to find a way to ease the chore issue in her home. It’s also perfect for moms whose kids are still too young for chores – if you follow this system to train your kids to enjoy helping in the first place, you may avoid the chore problems altogether.
