Launch A Home Business On A Budget
Posted by: | CommentsDespite what many think, starting a business doesn’t have to deplete your life’s savings. Many successful businesses have been launched from home with a little investment and a lot of determination. Several years ago I launched a Homeowner Referral Network (HRN) business with a $5000 loan from my husband’s retirement savings plan. Not only was I was able to repay the loan in less than six months but my business has grown into a cottage industry nationwide grossing more than $2 million in revenue to date.
If you have the desire to start your own business but have limited resources, below are three tips to help you stay on budget:
1. What do you (really) need?
Before you head out to purchase the latest and greatest technology for your home office, assess your needs. Decide what equipment will be essential to your business start-up and then shop around at local retailers for the best price. Basic office equipment generally includes a computer, printer, fax machine, telephone, answering machine, desk and file cabinet. Unless your business is in a computer-related or hi-tech field, chances are that you can do everything you need with your existing equipment, last year’s computer model or refurbished equipment that includes a warranty or service contract. Posted by: | CommentsMaking a Household Budget: An Essential Resource To Help You Save Money
Posted by: | CommentsMaking a household budget may seem like a chore. An unreasonable and unnecessary addition to your already long list of duties. But the benefits of making a household budget greatly outweigh any disadvantages of having to do so. Here is why.
Have you ever received a letter from the bank telling you that your account is overdrawn? The charges incurred from the overdraft can be amazing. Most banks charge on average $35 for each item that is overdrawn. Making a household budget can save you lots of money in overdraft charges.
For example, if have gone over and you have five checks that come through you will be charged $35 times five which equals $175. Ouch!! Now most times the reason you go over is because you had more money going out than you did coming in and that $175 is going to cause even more problems.
This is the main reason why making a household budget is needed. A budget will help you to have a better understanding of your money. It will show you where it goes and it will help you to eliminate the overdraft fees and headaches. Read More→

If your spouse has lost his job or taken a cut in pay or hours, you may be feeling the stress of knowing that you may have to go get a job to help make ends meet. I know this is something that you don’t want to do, so this article will show you some steps you can take to make sure you don’t have to get a job outside the home.
• Store
One way to save money at the store is to buy only the items that are essential. Don’t buy that awesome shirt that you just know would look great on you, don’t buy that must have pair of earrings to go with that new dress that you purchased, and don’t buy your husband that cool hat that would be an awesome addition to his hat collection. These are luxuries not necessities and so if it came right down to it, these could go by the way side. Read More→

Posted by: | CommentsChristian Anger Management Tips
Posted by: | CommentsIs it wrong for a Christian to express anger? Not according to the bible. After all, even Jesus expressed anger (see John 2:15). However, the bible gives us two wise principles to follow when dealing with anger. This article covers those principles and also gives you practical tips for managing this volatile emotion.
In Ephesians 4:26, the writer advises: “In your anger do not sin: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry.” The reason for this advice is that if anger is not dealt with effectively, it can evolve into unforgiveness and eventually bitterness. This root of bitterness can not only poison your relationship with the person with whom you are angry, but may even taint your other relationships.
So if you find yourself angry at someone, the first thing you need to do is to calm down and get control of your emotions. The last thing you want is to respond to the other person while your emotions are running high.
One of the best ways to regain control is to remove yourself from the situation and go somewhere private. Sit down and take some slow, deep breaths. Breathe in slowly through your nose and out through your mouth until your breathing starts to return to normal. Read More→
