YOU are Loved by God
ByOne of our greatest needs is to know that we are loved. We long to be certain that someone loves us, cares for us, and only wants what is best for us. God wants you to know that He loves you in a way that is too complex for words. You should never spend one day, hour, or minute, without knowing that God loves you more than you can comprehend. His love cannot compare to anything of “this world” and He could never love you anymore or any less than He did at the moment He gave you life.
Not only does God love you enough to give you life, but He loves you enough to give you eternal life. When you lift up your eyes to God and confess sin, He will forgive you and transform your life by giving you hope through Christ that never dies.
God’s love reaches out to the lost and lonely, those who are bound by sin, and sets them free through forgiveness, repentance, and His grace. No matter what we have done in the past, His love toward us remains consistent, committed, and without limitations.
God’s love is freely given, but not always freely received. Many times, we distance ourselves from God because we feel we are not worthy to receive His love. Yet in believing Truth, His Word, we know with all certainty that nothing we do or say can separate us from His love.
We’re promised in Romans 8:39 (NLT),
“Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
We will never be disappointed in God’s love, because His love is unfailing. (Numbers 14:19, Romans 5:5) The love of God, the love that He has given and shown to us through the sacrifice of Christ, is the greatest expression of God’s love because no matter what we have done, through Christ, we are seen without fault in the eyes of God (Ephesians 1:4) and we are given eternal life.
We learn in 1 John 4:8 that love is the very essence of who God is, for God IS love. In “this world” we are deceived in many ways about what REAL love is. But in 1 John 4:9-10 we are told exactly what true love is…..
“But God showed how much He loved us by sending His only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through Him.”
The love of God transcends all of our failures and shortcomings. His grace is always sufficient for our every need and His Peace is beyond all understanding. His love is patient and kind, it does not demand its own way, it keeps no record when it has been wronged, and it always rejoices whenever Truth wins out. God’s love never gives up, never loses faith, it is always hopeful and endures through every circumstance. His love will last forever. (1 Corinthians 13:4-8) There is no substitute for the love of God.
Today and everyday God desires to give you His Valentine, covered in red, the blood of Christ. It is His gift to you, the greatest expression of His love and He stands before you every moment of your life, reaching out His loving arms, saying, “Be Mine.”

The devil wants us to believe that God doesn’t have time to love each and everyone of us equally. He loves only the ones who have talent more than he loves me. The sinner who falls short more than once. But I know that is a lie from the father of lies. God loves me just as much as he does anyone else and I know that he cares and loves us all. Thanks for reinforcing that fact. Someone truly needs to know how powerful and deep Gods loves flows.
