What are your New Year’s Resolutions? (And do you have any recipes to share? :)

If you’re wondering why CWAHM is a bit quiet this week it’s because I’m taking it a bit easy. (yay!
The kids are still out of school and hubby has the week off. Friday is our 10th wedding anniversary. And…CWAHM turns 10 in 2010!! Time to celebrate!
In my free time (ha ha), I’m considering my New Year’s Resolutions. One thing I’m thinking of doing is taking up the EzineArticles.com challenge – 100 articles in 100 days. Whew! Sounds daunting, but exciting.
Another thing I’d really like to do this year is branch out in the cooking arena. I need to research some new recipes and get to work!
What are your goals for 2010? (And do you have any great recipes to share?) Post below! I’d love to hear!

One of my New Year’s resolutions is to make good use of my friends list on facebook. And my plan for accomplishing that goal is to take one friend a day, one day at a time, and personally contact that person – even if it’s just a post on their wall.
As for recipes, I love my subscription to a “recipe” magazine. How much can I share without giving away free advertising?
I love that – one friend a day – great idea!! I may have to shoot for 1 new recipe a week, but it will still be an improvement.
One of the most important things I need to complete the first part of this new year is to publish my “ebook”. It’s taken many years to research, plan, and layout for the general public. I’ve taken this time because as a realtor I’ve had many deals to fall through, and I found out that many people think they know what’s in front of them, but they don’t really. As a realtor it’s my job to make sure they know, they say and seem to understand, but in the final end – at the closing table they are shocked. So I wrote a glossary of terms with samples and help notes so that mortgage companies and real estate professionals will be understood when they rattle stuff off that is and is not used in our everyday language.
Like that one day a friend contact- great idea. A great source for new recipes and good health is the Fat to Skinny Fast and Easy Book that just came out day after Christmas. Chock full of super easy eating- I need to get back to it since I overindulged in sugar recently as I am sure so many of us have.
My resolution is to keep up with my inbox and do my best to clear my desk off once a week. That would mean filing everything instead of placing it in a pile that I intend to file later! Happy New Year one and all! Congrats Jill on all of the anniversaries!
Jill – I joined a site where I get a week’s worth of recipes every Thursday. I love it because before joining I would stress about what to cook that night and a lot of times we’d end up having cereal! I think my family got pretty sick of that routine! LOL Here is the link: http://e-mealz.com/amember/go.php?r=52969&i=l0 . The nice thing is you can get it for certain stores, number of people you are feeding or a certain “diet” you are following. It is only $5 a month and the recipes for 7 days fit on an 8×11 piece of paper. Short, simple, easy and even my picky eater likes most of them!! It’s helped me a lot.
Hope you have a Happy New Year!! Louise
I have been seriously looking for a home business for three years and I must have one ASAP to keep my head above water. I have been praying and searching for an opportunity that is not a scam and that I can make money with. I am not looking for millions or zillions but a business I can develop from 100 a week to maybe 500-600 a month. God has been good to us this year but with the cost of living, medical bills and credit cards help is much needed.Jim
Just wanted to update you all that I am actually finding and making some fun recipes. We had (a slight variation of) Rachael Ray’s “Pizzagna” tonight – http://www.rachaelray.com/recipe.php?recipe_id=1261 . Yum-O!
