Every day at least one person will ask if a particular data entry job is legit.
Every day at least one person will ask to find a data entry position.

Data entry jobs are the most desired, most favourable and most sought after position online. You will hear often data entry jobs are rare, few and far between and it’s true. If that’s the case, why do you see them scattered online so much?

Here’s the difference between data entry jobs and data entry programs.

Data Entry Jobs
Data entry keyers inputs lists of data (alpha and numeric) into a spreadsheet or computerized database. Most reputable companies hire based on keyboarding skills, keystrokes per hour (KPH), accuracy and speed. These positions also require a cover letter and resume from the applicant and the applicant may be asked to take a typing test. They never ask you to pay for registration or training material fees. Acting on Truth by Jill Hart

Posted by: | Comments (5)

I spent today living a lie. Little thoughts kept popping into my head filling it with negatives like, “No one cares what you think. Why bother with your ministry? You should just quit now.” and “That person’s just using you, no need to be kind to them.” On and on this went until I felt tired, burdened and discouraged.

That evening as I stood at the stove fixing a “horrible mom’s” meal of Hamburger Helper it hit me – I was buying into lies. The lies that I believe about myself. The lies that society feeds us. The lies of the enemy. I stopped right then and prayed – asking God to fill me with His truth. I immediately felt a release in my spirit as I stepped away from the lies filling my mind.

I was reminded in that moment that we are to act on truth, not rely on our feelings to guide our thoughts or our actions. We’re told in 1 John 3:18-20:

Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth. This then is how we know that we belong to the truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence whenever our hearts condemn us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

If God’s knows everything about us (Everything! The good, the bad, the ugly!) and still loves us, why do we allow the lies to creep in? Why do we live our days in defeat? Read More→

For most people it is not an easy task to earn a steady income from home. It involves commitment, perseverance, and hard work.

There are so many homewokers who concentrate on earning money from just one source of income. But who’s to say you can’t earn more? If you’re in it for the long haul, you would like to make as much money as possible, correct?

Well, of course you would!

Below are six tips to earning an income from various sources:

1. Steady Traffic To Your Website
If you have good traffic coming to your website, that automatically opens the door to making money from more than just one source. Include text links and/or banners on your existing website to different types of affiliate programs you have joined. Join programs you are confident that you can realistically make money with.

All it takes is getting the desired traffic to your website. The more traffic you get to your site…the more traffic your affiliate links will get. This creates a domino effect and you end up with the most profitable results. Read More→

My Wish For Super Powers

Posted by: | Comments (2)

by Jill Hart

Do you ever wish that you had a super power? My son, who was 4 at the time, told me not long ago that when he gets to heaven, he’s going to ask God for super powers … specifically, “laser eyes.”

I’m not sure that I’d want laser eyes (sound painful!), but maybe the power to control things – my life, my kids, my housework. :) This week, though, I’ve been wishing that I had the power to get it all done. So many days I feel as if I need an extra 3 or 4 hours just to accomplish the day to day tasks of life.

What super power would you choose?

As I pondered super powers and the word “Power,” I realized that although it is many times defined using words like “strength” or “might,” in Jesus we see another definition of power. He IS power in the true sense of the word. Even when he humbled Himself to be human, He didn’t use power to destroy or to have control over mankind. He was the embodiment of power, yet the power that He exemplified was a power of servanthood. Read More→

Isn’t this bag cute? Just seeing it makes me want to head to the pool!

When I received the bag in the mail the first thing that struck me was how adorable it is. I love polka-dots and having my initials embroidered on the front was just the frosting on the cake. :) Then, as I pulled it out of the packaging, I was shocked by how HUGE it is! You could literally fit an entire family’s poolside needs in this bag and still have room left over. It is enormous!

I decided to take it with me to a conference where I was speaking to see what people’s thought on it would be (and also to see how much stuff I could cram into it). So, I packed it full – a few stacks of my book, my camera, my purse and everything that I was going to need for the day. Read More→

Business or a Job?

Posted by: | Comments (2)

by Nancy Kraska

When looking at work at home ideas on any directory, it is important from the beginning to know what you want. Do you want a work at home business or a work at home job?

Let’s examine both. A work at home business is just that: a business. As with any business, a work at home business contains its ups and downs. The best way, I have found, to go about having your own business on the Internet is to have your own website and domain name. Both of which can be had for very little cost. With the website you either design it yourself with various WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) programs or pay someone to design it for you. Whichever you do be advised that your website will constantly undergo changes.

You then will sign up with various affiliate programs on the Internet. The easiest way to find a wide variety is to find a affiliate program directory. There are many such directories on the Internet and are relatively easy to find. Once you find the affiliate program, you sign up as an advertiser. As an advertiser you are agreeing to promote the affiliate site and/or any one of the various programs offered. These offers vary greatly and they cost nothing to join. So be sure and keep some kind of list of the different sites you want to promote on your website.

Once you have established your website and the programs you wish to advertise, it is now time to start promoting your website. You can do this by free advertising on the Internet, advertising offline, or doing a pay-per click advertising on the web. Read More→

A Note From Jill

CWAHM.com is a dream that God has truly brought to life. I began CWAHM.com in 2000 while learning HTML. I thought it would be a fun hobby and a way to compile all the information I was seeking on working at home. I am a mom of 2 (1 boy, 1 girl), a wife and I do work from home. I accepted Christ as my savior at the age of seven as a Sparky in my church’s AWANA club. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Grace University in Human Development and Family Studies/Bible. I love working from home and I pray that CWAHM will be a blessing in your life as it has been in mine.
