Review: iSafe Backpack

Posted by: | Comments (0)

I jumped at the chance to review the iSafe backpack because I thought it looked like a great way to keep kids safe. What I found, though, was that it’s a great way to keep anyone safe – I myself will carry one of the iSafe bags, especially if I happen to be out by myself or if it’s just me and the kids.

When the package arrived my husband was a little skeptical about how effective the alarm would really be. The promotional materials advertise it as the “World’s Loudest Personal Alarm System” so he just had to try it out right away and see. Well, I’ll say this – it is LOUD. :) If you were carrying an iSafe bag and ran into trouble or found yourself in a dangerous situation, the built in alarm system (which is activated by pulling on a small cord hidden in the “arm strap” of the bag) is so loud that I can’t imagine it being ignored. So you are looking to work from home? Many jump into a Direct Sales Companies, before going over what there expectations are as well as their families. Over 85% of entrepreneurs who start a Direct Sales Company have a family that they are providing for. For many that is the reason for joining a direct sales business to earn money online for their family.

If you have a family, and your are thinking of starting in one of the direct sales companies online, there are some strategies that you should take to make the transition easier. While a direct sales company allows you to work from home, there has to be boundaries, and expectations from yourself and your family.

Here is a 10 step guide to making your work from home experience an easier transition:

1.) Set a schedule

First set up a schedule. Your task for the day, your working hours, and if you have to pick up the kids, do laundry, and make supper. Write it all down Having a schedule at the beginning will help you to stick to your schedule and understand what your expectations are. As your direct sales companies grow, so will your list. Having a base line will help you as add new projects and task to your schedule.

2.) Have a Quiet Office Space

Kids are running around, televisions blaring, and the dogs barking. Okay to have complete quiet may only come with a sound proof room. Many Christians tend to go to extremes when it comes to money matters. Some succumb to greed while others shun money like a plague.

One of the performance issues of Christian business is profit.

Sometimes Christians seem to believe that God will bless them miraculously, while they ignore proper management of the business. Making a fair profit, paying bills, and fair wages are musts for a Christian business. The Bible tells us that it is God who directs us to think and plan.

So what does the Bible, your Christian business guide, teach about profit?

Bible parables teach us Kingdom Business principles and a parable which we can apply to the issue of profit maximization is the Parable of Talents.

In Matthew 25:14-30 we learn that God is looking for faithfulness in the little things. A master who entrusted money to his servants expected a return on his investment. Two of the servants managed their money well and were rewarded. The third servant managed the money poorly and was therefore punished.

John Wesley said, “Money is an excellent gift of God if it is used excellently, answering the noblest needs of humanity.” To Wesley is attributed the maxim – “Earn all you can. Save all you can. Give all you can.”

One of the most successful Christian businesses that we know of has it’s mission statement “To glorify God by being a faithful steward of all that is entrusted to us and to have a positive influence on all who come in contact with us.”

A Note From Jill

CWAHM.com is a dream that God has truly brought to life. I began CWAHM.com in 2000 while learning HTML. I thought it would be a fun hobby and a way to compile all the information I was seeking on working at home. I am a mom of 2 (1 boy, 1 girl), a wife and I do work from home. I accepted Christ as my savior at the age of seven as a Sparky in my church’s AWANA club. I have a Bachelor’s degree from Grace University in Human Development and Family Studies/Bible. I love working from home and I pray that CWAHM will be a blessing in your life as it has been in mine.
