Hi [Jill]. I know you are a busy girl so I’ll make it quick. I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for reaching out to moms like myself and providing encouragement. I am single, struggling, and the mother of 1 & 2 yr olds. A few months ago, I packed up bottles and snacks in the morning and was driving around with my kids to churches and food pantries to survive.

With some financial help from neighbors and some time on my knees, I picked myself up and decided that I WOULD make SOMETHING work! I don’t get child support so I gathered monthly expenses and started researching hundreds of things every day until I ran across a VA website. It sounded like the answer to my prayers. Then I found your site and have been slowly but surely increasing my income at home.

I only placed 8 bids on iFreelance before I got my first client. It was a short project but she loves my work and we are still working together. Yesterday I got a second client and now I have more work to do than I can fit into a day. My house is clean but a disaster. My kids have been slightly neglected and planted in front of more TV than I would like. We are eating frozen dinners instead of me cooking.

BUT . . . by gosh I am providing for my family and I am proud of myself. Keep inspiring and encouraging. Thanks for being who you are and helping me remember to lean on the Lord!!!
