Excellent article. It's so true too that even once you're in business, you can continually grow your business by learning more skills and defining your niche.

That's why it's so great to be a VA!

Thanks!

I was interested to accidently run across a new show staring Candace Cameron Bure, called Make it or Break it http://abcfamily.go.com/abcfamily/path/section_Shows+Make-It-Or-Break-It/page_Detail but sadly, she left me truly saddened and prayerful.

Imagine my shock when her show features words like ‘bitch’ and Candace in a dating relationship with a coach, where that the man feels he has to hide from his teenage daughter, and where kids lie to their parents and go on unapproved road trips.

Pretty good if you can ignore all the cleavage Candace made my teenage son aware of with her very low-cut tops and outfits: http://abcfamily.go.com/abcfamily/path/section_Shows+Make-It-Or-Break-It/page_CandaceCameronBure

I am now so discouraged with her testimony and feel like she sold out after making us all believe that she stood for Christian family values, modesty, treasuring women and their role, etc.

How very very sad.

Found you on twitter.

This article is a great beginning. Pequalifying is NOT the same a prejudging. Prequalifying takes the guesswork out of the equation.

When you prequalify, you make the decision before you've even pesented the opportunity to your prospect. Pre-qualifying is a process you can use to gauge the REAL interest level of a prospect.

I knew a leader that recruited 51 people to her personal team in one month - and in three months only about 20 of them were still around - a year leater, less than 10.

Why put yourself through that? OY-VEY!

By pre-qualifying your prospects, they know up front your level of expectation.

A great word choice that I've used is "I will match my efforts to yours" This makes it clear that if they're only putting in a little bit of effort, you'll give them exactly what they put into this business.

I actually wrote about this in my newsletter a few weeks back. Great topic!

Thank you, Cherie, for such an encouraging article. The lesson presented is very timely in my families' life right now. We are seeking God's answers, timing, and confirmation to know that we are doing what is right in HIS eyes. Please keep our family in your prayers, as my husband and I teach our teens how adults should handle adversity in a Christ-like manner.

Just yesterday a letter I wrote the editor in our local weekly paper made at least one, if not several enemies. Shall I pray for them? I felt intimidated and angry at the same time. I stood my ground and even said some really awful things back to the person who called me about it. Should I pray for her or me? Should I pray for both? How long do I pray? Forever? Tomorrow? I have another "enemy" who I think wants both to control me and is intimidated by me. Do I pray for her? Do I pray for me? How long do I pray for my enemies? Today? Tomorrow? Forever? Yesterday? How long should my list be and when/where can I drop off and pick up the people who I need/should/should have...prayed for?
