Amen to your call for prayer over our businesses!!! I so often find that when I fall in a slump, I can easily look back and realize that I have not been COVERING my business in regular prayer. So glad that we serve a God of mercy, because He hears me when ever I call!

I often encourage others who I mentor to pray for their buisness, too. I think it is a good way to encourage another in their faith. Some laugh or giggle at first. But, I explain that God promises his children favor. I am a CHILD OF GOD and I claim Favor over my Business!! And, you should, too!

Oh, I am SO THRILLED to see a book of this nature to hit the shelves! I have been Blessed to have establised a wonderful and lucrative WAH position. I have a HUGE passion to see other moms do the same. If it were 2002 again, and I was pregnant with my first child, I would have coveted this book like no other. SOOO many moms just want to be home. Thank you for this article. It has blessed my heart today. I believe so strongly in the Bible stories and verses mentioned. These particular verses have been my strength as I had journeyed through some tough times in my life. They are true and good. Good article. I agree that offering excellent customer service can really set you apart and ahead of other businesses. Unfortunately, today, offering good customer service doesn’t seem to be that important to business owners.

I believe we should follow what it says in Matthew 7:12 “Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them…” When we apply this Biblical principle, we really cannot go wrong.

Jill, excellent article. I feel that a blog is an excellent tool to use when a mom or dad start a home business.

For one thing, a blog is much easier to set up than a website. Search engines like blogs because they are always changing, always being updated.

The blog can be used as the central base in a network marketer’s marketing campaign. The blog should be informational. It should answer your market’s questions. By doing that, the blogger builds up a level of trust with the reader and forms a relationship.

Great article. I personally feel that the unemployment rate will remain high for many months. So now may be the time for moms and dads to consider a home based business, especially if they are unemployed.

I agree. It is not an easy decision. It does take faith and a belief in oneself. God works in our lives in differnet ways. Life is a series of twists and turns, ups and downs. He may have brought you to this point in your life for a reason.

Being in a home based business can be fun, especially if the business is based on a hobby or a passion of yours. This can be a decision that will change your life forever.
